MARCH ON and Fight Back PAC Announce Endorsement of Stacey Abrams for Georgia Governor

Washington, DC – MARCH ON and Fight Back PAC are proud to announce our endorsement of Stacey Abrams for Georgia Governor. As the first African American woman to lead in the Georgia House of Representatives and a tireless advocate for Georgia families, Stacey has the vision to ensure that all Georgians have a voice at the table and an opportunity to succeed.

MARCH ON and Fight Back PAC support her candidacy and her platform to create a fair and diverse economy across the state, to reform its antiquated criminal justice system, to educate bold, ambitious children, and to foster a Georgia where all its citizens are active partners in ensuring their government serves everyone.

“As the first woman to lead either party in the Georgia General Assembly and the first African American to lead in the House of Representatives, Stacey is pioneer and represents the best values of our movement,” said MARCH ON Executive Director Vanessa Wruble. “Civil Rights icon and Congressman John Lewis said it best when he said that Stacey is the only candidate in this race who has the experience and vision to lift up all Georgia families.”

Andi Pringle, Fight Back PAC Executive Director said, “We couldn’t be more excited to endorse Stacey’s candidacy for Governor. Stacey has spent her entire career serving Georgia families, and her experience and unique perspective on how to improve the lives of working Georgians make her an excellent candidate for Governor. Stacey recognizes that now is the time for transformative leadership in Georgia, and she’s well positioned to turn Georgia blue this fall.”
